How much does it cost to join The Alpine Club?
There is a one-time, non-refundable joining fee of $100. Following this, members are required to purchase 3 bottles on our member-exclusive portal every April and October to keep their membership.
How often are Alpine Club releases?
We have just two releases each year during the months of April and October. They are each comprised of member-selected 3 bottles (750ml/bottle). Each member is responsible for purchasing during these two release periods and selecting the bottles they would like.
How much do the bi-annual releases cost?
Pricing varies depending on the member’s bottle selection. Typically, members can expect to spend a minimum of $100 on each release if purchasing clear spirits only. Most members selecting from a variety of spirits will spend between $100-$200 during each of our two annual releases.
Is it a whiskey only club?
Members curate their own release selection. Though a majority of our members enjoy access to our whiskey offerings, members can select from a variety of our spirits including clear spirits and seasonal releases. Each release is ultimately tailored by each member.
Do you offer shipping?
Currently, the law allows us to ship within the state of California only. *Note: this is a temporary measure and is subject to change by state law. We offer no guarantee that shipping will be available in future. We are working actively with state and national legislators to keep this in place.
How do I purchase my bi-annual Alpine Club releases?
For your data security, we don’t keep payment details of our members. During each release period in April and October, club members are invited to login to our membership portal, make their selections, and purchase using a payment method of their choice.
Do I receive discounts?
In exchange for your enthusiasm in Hinterhaus, we offer members a 15% discount on every bottle purchased during our bi-annual releases as well as bottle purchases made at the distillery and throughout the year on the member portal. Members also enjoy a 15% discount on tastings and cocktails when visiting the distillery.
How do I pick up my Alpine Club releases?
We invite our members to pick up their selected April and October Alpine Club releases at our distillery during our regular hours: Thur-Sat 12-6 and Sun 12-5.
Is there a deadline for picking up orders?
We ask that members pick up within 90 days of all purchases or select the shipping option if they cannot pick up within this timeframe.
Can someone pick up my club releases or other club purchases on my behalf?
With written notice, we will release your club releases and portal purchases to a designated person who is at least 21 yrs of age.
Who can use my member benefits?
Only the club member and their listed spouse/partner can utilize the benefits of our Alpine Club. When registering an account, you have the ability to add your spouse/partner. Only club members can use the discount when purchasing at the distillery, and only club members have access to the Alpine Club portal for purchases.
What if I fail to make a purchase during the bi-annual release periods?
We know that life gets busy, and we make every effort to reach out to members who have failed to make the required April or October club release purchase. Members who do not purchase within the month are subject to cancellation and their membership may be relinquished.
Can I cancel my membership?
We know that life brings change. We hope to keep you as a member for a long time, but you are free to cancel your membership at any time. You will never receive a charge from us again (remember, we don’t keep your payment details). *Note: The one-time Joining Fee is non-refundable.
